Who is ethan?

Ethan graduated from DePaul University in Chicago Illinois in 2021 with his Bachelor’s of Fine arts in Theatrical Sound Design with a Minor in Film sound and Game sound Design. He also has his Associates in Applied Science in Audio Production Technology with a focus in Sound design, an Associates in Applied Science in Music Business, and a Certificate of Completion in Sound Design.

He worked with a non-profit community theater in Arizona on a number of shows from 2011 until 2018 when he moved to Chicago to pursue further education. He unfortunately graduated during 2021 with Covid still going on and while most theaters were shut down, losing out on his Internship and Senior Projects.

He is happy to be back in the saddle and getting his foot in the door and his name out into the industry. He recently recreated the sound design for St Louis’ The New Jewish Theater’s Baskerville (Original Sound Design by Victoria “Toy” DeIorio). He will be working at the Peterborough Players Theater in New Hampshire summer 2026 as an Audio Supervisor and Sound Designer. Upon his return to St. Louis he will be designing Just for Us at the New Jewish Theater in the Fall.

Ethan started as an audio/visual technician at his local church in 2001 and with the local theater and school productions in 2004. While in college he learned about audio production technologies, music business, sound design, live sound reinforcement and audio editing. He loves sound design and finds it to be more of a hobby than a job, keeping the enjoyment and passion for the sound industry.
